About Me

In the northeast United States in the State of Maine, lives a very special talented, caring young lady.

13 year old Miranda Rayne lives with her mother, dad, grandmother and 2 cats Mischief and Panda. She is good at math, science and expresses herself creatively through drawing, dancing, acting, cheerleading, FX makeup and designing clothes.

At the age of 6 Miranda competed in her first pageant, a friend was signed up and she thought it maybe fun so when we asked if she wanted to participate, she jumped at that the chance. Stepping into something new Mom and Miranda did their research on what to expect, the pageant requirements and optional competitions which included 'most beautiful' that required a photo submission. So we found a local photographer that specialized in 'Kiddie Couture', Melissa J. Albert Photography and made an appointment. With the images from the shoot and Miranda's sparkling personality she earned 5 Crowns and Trophy's as well as other awards at the pageant which included Overall Photogenic, Overall Best Smile, Charming Princess, V.I.P.  0-6 Years, Novice Supreme and Community Service Star. From what we understand now, winning this many awards you're first pageant is pretty unheard of. The experience opened up a new world of pageants and modeling for Miranda.

One month later Miranda competed in her second pageant winning her age division and the title of Miss Maine Sweetheart Princess, 2015. As a new pageant titleholder Miranda began volunteering in her community and throughout the State the Maine. As Miss Maine Sweetheart Princess, 2015 Miranda gained some modeling experience working with local photographers and opening the runway show for David's Bridal. It wasn't until almost the end of 2015 that we started submitting Miranda for some additional modeling opportunities and in December 2015 we received notification that she was 'confirmed as a potential Model Source Magazines Top 10 of the Year Model!'  In January 2016, Miranda was published in her first magazine, invited to be a special guest and performer at the Elk's Club for an event to Benefit Maine's Children's Cancer Foundation and was accepted as one of only a handful of child models for a very prestigious photography conference. Just 2 months after beginning what you might call her 'modeling career' Miranda received the honor of being on the cover of her first magazine!

Throughout 2016 Miranda continued modeling locally and even traveled to St. Louis, MI for the first time, While there she had the opportunity to work with a number of photographers gaining experience behind the camera.  Many of those images were used for advertising and promotional purposes for the photographers, some were published in magazines or printed and sold as wall art., In August an image of Miranda was submitted by Melissa J Albert Photography to Adorama Presents Top Photographer with Nigel Barker's and won the photographer a spot in the semi-finals.  While Miranda's modeling career was growing her passion for pageants, cheerleading and volunteering also kept Miranda busy.

In the fall of 2016 Miranda started an online organization called 'Kids Speak'. It’s a place where kids can go to talk about anything that affects them. They can talk about your dreams, aspirations, pain, loss, anything. It’s important that kids know that no matter what they are going through they are not alone. Miranda's passion for helping others, modeling and pageants opened doors to some incredible opportunities. Miranda traveled to the Carribean representing Maine as USA National Miss Downeast Maine Princess. In early 2017 Miranda was named Miss January in the USA National Miss national calendar.

She began traveling throughout the middle and northeast United States modeling, participating in New York Fashion Week and traveling to Boston, St. Louis and Chicago. Being able to wear the most astounding child couture gowns of the year. In the summer of 2017 Miranda competed at the USA National Miss national pageant winning the USA National Miss Role Model Princess, Community Volunteerism Award, Junior Division Portfolio Runner up and a Gold Presidential Volunteerism Award. With pageants and modeling Miranda began designing some of her own wardrobe wearing her first piece in the casual wear competition at the UNM National Pageant and was honored to be #6 on the Pageant Planet list for USA National Miss Most Outstanding Junior Division Casual Wear Outfits.

The most exciting part of being a child model is the creativity behind each shoot that Miranda thrives on. Miranda is excited, honored and humbled by each opportunity.
